A case study of the treatment of pediatric nephritis by Academician Tong Xiaolin using the theory of"zang-fu viscera rheumatism"
Glomerulonephritis is a common kidney disease in children,and various long-term complications may arise from it if not treated in time.The treatment of this disease with traditional Chinese medicine can alleviate its clinical symptoms and protect kidney function.From the perspective of"zang-fu viscera rheumatism",Tong Xiaolin defines the zang-fu organs related to the kidney as the"urinary system"according to the four-jiao eight-system theory,and introduces the diagnosis and treatment ideas of"urinary system rheumatism"around a case of pediatric nephritis.It is suggested that its main cause should be the accumulation of pathogens due to deficient vital qi,while its main treatment should be to expel the pathogens from the body in its attack period,and to focus on strengthening and consolidating body resistance in its remission period,with warming the kidney and benefiting qi as its general treatment principle,so as to make healthy qi permeate through the interior and exterior,leaving no evil qi in the body.This paper systematically sorts out the diagnosis and treatment ideas and medication strategy of pediatric nephritis,in order to provide more clinical diagnosis and treatment programs for the disease.
