Ultrasound-guided small needle knife combined with drug injections in the treatment of flexor tendon tenosynovitis stenosans
Objective To observe the clinical effect of ultrasound-guided small needle knife combined with drug injections in the treatment of flexor tendon tenosynovitis stenosans. Methods A total of 72 patients with flexor tendon tenosynovitis stenosans visiting the pain department of Jilin Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 36 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with ultrasound-guided small needle knife combined with drug injections, while the control group was treated with ultrasound-guided steroid drug injections alone. The clinical efficacy was compared in the two groups after treatment. Results At the 1st,3rd,and 5th week after treatment, the VAS score and Quinnell grade were lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 5 weeks, the clinical follow-up efficacy of the two groups was compared, and the total effective rate was much higher in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion It is safe and effective to treat flexor tendon tenosynovitis stenosans with ultrasound-guided small needle knife combined with drug injections, which is worthy of promotion.
