Research progress of external application of Chinese medicines and mechanisms on promoting healing after anal fistula surgeries
Anal fistula refers to a chronic and pathological duct between anorectum and the surrounding skins of the anus.It is reported that anal fistula accounts for about 3.60%of the total incidence of anorectal diseases in China. At present, surgery is still the main clinical treatment for anal fistula, but because the wound surface in anal fistula surgeries is mostly open,it is easy to lead to the occurrence of complications, its recurrence and other problems, which seriously affect the therapeutic effect of the disease. Therefore,it is very important to explore the mechanisms on wound healing after anal fistula operations and to take timely and effective treatment measures for clinicians to improve its therapeutic effect. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine has been widely used to promote the wound healing after anal fistula surgeries, and has become the main treatment method for this disease. This paper summarizes the mechanisms of promoting the healing of postoperative anal fistula with external Chinese medicines, aiming to provide relevant references and a guidance basis for the clinical treatment of the disease.
