Clinical study on the ultrasound-guided injection therapy for knee osteoarthritis
Objective To verify the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of the treatment of knee osteoarthritis under the guidance of ultrasound visualization. Methods Ninety patients with knee osteoarthritis in the pain department of our hospital from January 2023 to November 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group consisted of 45 cases, while the control group consisted of 45 cases as well. The treatment group received an injection treatment for knee osteoarthritis under the ultrasound guidance, while the control group received an injection treatment for knee osteoarthritis using the anatomical blind positioning. The total effective rates and safety of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results The effective rates of patients who underwent the knee joint cavity injection treatment under the ultrasound guidance were higher than those of the blind localization injection group at one month and three months after treatment, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There were no adverse complications in the treatment group. Conclusion The accurate injection therapy into the knee joint cavity guided by ultrasound visualization can improve the treatment accuracy and safety, effectively alleviate the knee joint pain in patients, and improve joint function.
