Professor Chen Rui's experience in the creative application of Didang Decoction based on the theory of"differentiation and treatment of states and targets"
Since it was first formulated by Zhang Zhongjing in the Eastern Han Dynasty,Didang Decoction has been continuously evolving and has been modified by medical practitioners throughout the history,widely used in clinical practice.Based on the two core drugs of rhubarb root and rhizome and leech in the prescription,this study means to discuss the new effects of Didang Decoction in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.Professor Chen Rui believes that the application of Didang Decoction should change with a specific disease,time and space,while its formulation thinking,treatment methods,and the core pathogenesis of diseases should remain unchanged,and its clinical composition,dosage,and treatment targets should be simplified and precise.
