Preliminary experimental study on the effect of Xiaozhongsan lotion on wound healing in rats
Objective To explore the effect of Xiaozhongsan lotion on wound healing in rats.Methods SD rats with a successful modeling were randomly divided into an experimental group(Xiaozhongsan lotion),a control group(compound Huangbai liquid)and a blank group(normal saline).The wound healing rate was recorded on the third,seventh,fourteenth and twenty-first days after modeling.The expression levels of angiopoietins(AngⅠ,AngⅡ)in wound tissue were detected on the 3rd,7th,and 14th days.The expression levels of inflammatory factors(IL-1β,IL-6,IL-10)in wound tissue were detected on the 7th day.Results On the third day after modeling,there was no significant difference in wound healing rate among the three groups(P>0.05).The wound healing rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group and the blank group on the 7th and 14th day(P<0.05).The wound healing rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the blank group on the 21st day(P<0.05),yet there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).On the third day after modeling,there was no statistically significant difference in the expression levels of AngⅠ and AngⅡ between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),but their levels were significantly higher than those in the blank group(P<0.05).On the 7th day,there was a statistically significant difference in the expression levels of AngⅠ and AngⅡ between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05),and their levels were also significantly higher than those of the blank group(P<0.05).The expression levels of AngⅠ and AngⅡ in the experimental group and control group on the 14th day were not significantly different(P>0.05),but were significantly higher than those in the blank group(P<0.05).On the 7th day after modeling,the expression levels of IL-1β and IL-6 in the experimental group were lower than those in the blank group and the control group(P<0.05),while IL-10 was higher than those in the other two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Xiaozhongsan lotion can coordinate the balance of inflammatory factors,promote the expression of angiopoietin,and achieve the purpose of rapid wound healing.
