Observation on the curative effect of"Tiaoshen Tongqiao acupuncture method"combined with"Sanjiu paste"in the treatment of allergic rhinitis
Objective To observe the curative effect of"Tiaoshen Tongqiao acupuncture method"combined with"Sanjiu paste"in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.Methods A total of 60 patients with allergic rhinitis admitted to the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of Fuyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received a"Sanjiu paste"treatment,while the treatment group was given the"Tiaoshen Tongqiao acupuncture method"on the basis of the"Sanjiu paste"treatment,starting from the winter solstice with 9 days as one course,for a total of three courses of treatment.The therapeutic effects of the two groups after treatment,the total nasal symptom scores(TNSS),total non-nasal symptom scores(TNNSS),serum level of IgE,attack time,quality of life,negative emotion and sleep quality in the two groups before treatment and after were compared.Results After three courses of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group(86.67%)was higher than that of the control group(63.33%)(P<0.05).After three courses of treatment,the TNSSs(itchy nose,sneezing,runny nose,stuffy nose),TNNSSs,serum levels of immunoglobulin E(IgE),the scores of Rhinoconjuntivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)were all lower in the two groups than those before treatment,while the scores were much lower in the treatment group than those in the control group(P<0.05).After three courses of treatment,the onset time on the 14th day in both groups was shorter than before treatment,and the treatment group was much shorter than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The"Tiaoshen Tongqiao acupuncture method"combined with"Sanjiu paste"has a good effect in the treatment of allergic rhinitis,which can relieve total nasal symptoms and total non-nasal symptoms,regulate the serum level of IgE,shorten the duration of attack,reduce negative emotions,and improve the quality of life and sleep quality.
