Xuanfu exists all over the body,such as veins,orifices,zang-fu viscera and channels,etc.and sanjiao distributes vital qi throughout the body.There are few reports on the application of the"Xuanfu-sanjiao"theory in the treatment of atopic dermatitis.Based on the"Xuanfu-sanjiao"theory and combining skin barrier repair,Zhang Huimin explores the pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis.She adopts the methods of opening up Xuanfu to clear heat and eliminate dampness,invigorating the spleen to activate sanjiao for the treatment of atopic dermatitis,achieving a remarkable efficacy.This paper aims to summarize her clinical experience in this regard,hoping to provide new treatment ideas for the treatment of atopic dermatitis based on its syndrome differentiation.
