Application of the strategy of deciding dosage according to a syndrome in the treatment of diabetic sweating dysfunction with calcined ossa draconis and calcined oyster shells
Diabetic sweating dysfunction is one of the diabetic autonomic neuropathies,which can be involved in the early stage of type 2 diabetes,with hyperhidrosis as its main clinical manifestation.According to traditional Chinese medicine,its basic pathogenesis lies in the yin and yang disharmony and the disturbance of striae.The combination of calcined ossa draconis and calcined oyster shells can have a performance to nourish yin for suppressing hyperactive yang,retaining yin for arresting sweating.In the treatment of abnormal sweating in diabetes,the principle of"deciding the dosage according to a syndrome"should be followed.At the same time,the main symptoms should be differentiated and quantified,so as to adjust the dosages of both to ensure the treatment effectiveness and safety.
