Clinical effect and mechanism of Quxiling in the treatment of colorectal polyps
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Quxiling in the treatment of colorectal polyps and its effects on intestinal floras and gastrointestinal hormones. Methods A total of 82 patients treated in our hospital after colorectal polyp resection from May 2021 to November 2021 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 41 cases in each group.A colorectal polyp resection was performed in both groups. After the surgery, the control group was given a routine treatment, while the observation group was treated with Quxiling on that basis. The TCM syndrome scores, intestinal flora number, serum indexes, recurrence rate, clinical efficacy and occurrence of adverse reactions were observed in the two groups. Results After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores,Escherichia coli number, serum epidermal growth factor(EGF),vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP),substance P(SP)and total recurrence rate were decreased in both groups, and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The number of bifidobacterium and lactobacillus and the total effective rate of treatment were increased in both groups, and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).There were no adverse reactions such as abnormal blood routine test, liver and kidney function,or coagulation function in both groups. Conclusion Quxiling can improve the intestinal flora and gastrointestinal hormone levels of patients, reduce the TCM syndrome scores and polyp recurrence rate, improve the clinical efficacy, with a higher safety.
