On the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of microvascular angina from the perspective of"cold, blood stasis, deficiency and stagnation"
Microvascular angina is a disease in which there are no obvious abnormalities in coronary angiography examination, but patients may experience symptoms of exertional angina. In traditional Chinese medicine,it can be classified as"chest obstruction and heart pain".The article explores the traditional Chinese medicine etiology and pathogenesis of microvascular angina with"cold, blood stasis, deficiency and stagnation"as the starting point, with cold as the cause, blood stasis as the pivot, and deficiency as the effect. In terms of treatment, the general principle is to promote qi and blood circulation and tonify the body.Based on the leading pathological factor at each stage, methods are adopted for dispelling cold and resolving stagnation, removing blood stasis and activating stagnancy, and supplementing deficiency and clearing stagnation. In this way, collaterals are supposed to be unblocked, thereby the circulation of qi and blood is to be restored, achieving the goal of nourishing the heart and promoting cardiac function. It is hoped that this study provides new ideas for the prevention and treatment of microvascular angina in traditional Chinese medicine.
