Clinical effect of the modified Protein No.1 prescription in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy by Professor Nan Zheng
Objective To explore the clinical effect of the modified Protein No.1 prescription created by Professor Nan Zheng in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. Methods A total of 70 patients with diabetic nephropathy who visited the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 35 patients in each group. The control group was treated with compound α-keto acid tablets on the basis of a routine treatment, while the observation group was treated with the modified Protein No.1 prescription on the basis of a routine treatment. The clinical efficacy, the levels of 24-hour urinary protein quantification, fasting blood glucose(FBG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(PBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)and serum uric acid(UA)were observed in the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 100%,significantly higher than that of the control group(48.57%,P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of 24-hour urinary protein,FBG,PBG,HbA1C,and UA were better in both groups than before treatment, and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The Protein No.1 prescription is effective in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy, which can alleviate clinical symptoms, improve clinical indicators, and enhance the quality of life of patients, providing a new idea for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy with traditional Chinese medicine.
