Minnan overseas Chinese's correspondence is known as the"World Memory Heritage",which is a historical wit-ness of Minnan overseas Chinese's attachment to their hometown,their love for their motherland,and their belief to win through hard work.By elaborating on the connotations of kinship culture,patriotism,and integrity culture contained in the Minnan o-verseas Chinese's correspondence,this paper analyzes its current value in maintaining family ties and inheriting traditional filial piety culture;building social morality and highlighting the concept of respecting morality and promoting goodness;cultivating patriotic spirit and consolidating social value consensus;maintaining international relations,promoting economic and cultural ex-changes.To exert the distinctive current value of Minnan overseas Chinese's correspondence the paper proposes to carry on the spirit in overseas Chinese's correspondence through family education,to tell better its patriotic stories through multi-channel dissemination,to explore its historical value,to strengthen its cultural exchange,to expand its cultural space by digital technol-ogy,and to inherit and promote its cultural spirit.
