小说《长日留痕》书写了主人公史蒂文斯所经历的家庭创伤、爱情创伤、事业创伤、战争创伤,描述了史蒂文斯6 天驾车旅行自我修复创伤、最终实现自我和解的心路历程.《长日留痕》表达了石黑一雄对创伤人群命运的同情悲悯之心,既是石黑一雄文学的里程碑之作,也是启迪我们重新思考生命意义和人生价值的现代经典之作.文章聚焦于小说对主人公史蒂文斯的创伤书写,解读主人公史蒂文斯所经历的创伤和自我修复过程,进而为现实生活中的创伤修复过程提供有益参考.
Abstract
The novel The Remains of the Day describes the family trauma,love trauma,career trauma,and war trauma experienced by the protagonist Stevens,and describes the psychological process of repairing the trauma during Stevens'6-day driving trip,and how he finally achieves self-reconciliation.The Remains of the Day expresses Kazuo Ishiguro's sympathy for the fate of the group suffering traumas.It is not only a milestone work of Ishiguro's literature,but also a modern classic work that in-spires us to rethink the meaning and value of life.This article focuses on the novel's trauma writing of the protagonist Stevens,interprets his trauma and self-healing process,and then provides useful reference for the real life trauma healing process.
