An Analysis of International Experiencein Handling the Relationship Between Intangible Cultural Heritage and Tourism
Under the policy of"Integration of Culture and Tourism",all kinds of intangible cultural heritage(ICH)in va-rious parts of China are in a critical period of large-scale contact,implantation and combination with tourism.How to give play to the role of tourism as an economic and social development tool,effectively promote the systematic protection and innovative de-velopment of ICH,and avoid possible negative impacts in the integration process?This involves cross-applied research in relat-ed disciplines such as ICH protection and tourism management.Based on the translation and introduction of the relevant applica-tion theories and practical cases of the integration of ICH,commerce and tourism in foreign countries,this paper reviews the re-search abroad on the relationship between ICH and tourism,specifically,the relationship between ICH protection and commer-cial use,the relationship between ICH protection and tourism development,and the the relationship between different categories of ICH or individual cases and tourism,and summarizes the international experience in handling the three pairs of relationships.
