Research Application of Virtual Desktop and Zero Client in Laboratory Management——Research on the Fusion of VMware Horizon View and Dell Wyse Zero Client
The computer laboratory of our school is still using the computer room billing manage-ment system developed in 2006.The card-swiping terminal of this system is installed outside the labo-ratory and operates in the harsh outdoor environment all the year round.Therefore,frequent failures occur and it cannot operate normally for a long time.Faced with the above problems,the Teaching En-vironment Department of our school decided to use the currently mature virtual desktop technology to allow the card-swiping terminal of the computer room billing management system to run more stably in the harsh outdoor environment,and more conveniently manage and maintain.
