Comparative Study on Correction Strategies of Force Correction Iterative Hybrid Testing
The force correction iterative hybrid testing is a new method to study the seismic per-formance of structures. The method has two force correction strategies:equivalent linear model and e-quivalent Maxwell model. In order to compare the force correction effects of the two force correction strategies,a single story frame with five viscous dampers with velocity indices of 0.1,0.3,0.5,0.7 and 0.9 was selected as the research object, and the force correction iterative hybrid testing numerical simulation of different correction strategies was carried out.The results show that the two force correc-tion strategies can effectively correct the physical substructure reaction and improve the iterative conver-gence speed, and the larger the velocity index of viscous damper, the better the correction effect.Com-pared with the force correction of the equivalent Maxwell model, the force correction strategy of the e-quivalent linear model is more prominent. This study can provide reference for the development and ap-plication of force correction iterative hybrid testing.
