Research on Dynamic Response of a Continuous Beam Bridge Based on Single Wheel Vehicle Bridge Coupling Model
Based on single wheel vehicle coupling model, relevant factors affecting dynamic re-sponses of a five-span continuous beam bridge was studied.A vehicle bridge coupling model of the con-tinuous beam bridge was established based on ANSYS software, and the influences of three factors,in-cluding vehicle speed, vehicle weight, and suspension spring stiffness,on the dynamic response of the bridge were studied. The results show that when the vehicle speeds are 40 km/h and 100 km/h,the maximum displacements of the mid-span are 10.3 mm and 10.7 mm,indicating that the influence of vehicle speed on the mid-span displacement is not significant. When the vehicle speeds are 40 km/h and 120 km/h,the mid-span accelerations are 0.7 m/s2 and 2.5 m/s2,respectively,indicating that the vehicle speed has a more significant impact on the mid-span acceleration. When the vehicle weights are 15 t and 55 t,the maximum accelerations at the mid-span are 0.91 mm and 1.07 mm,respectively, and the maximum accelerations are 0.009 m/s2 and 2.88 m/s2,indicating that the vehicle weight has a significant effect in mid-span displacement and acceleration. When the stiffness of the vehicle suspen-sion spring are 0.5 times and 4 times of the initial value, the maximum displacement and maximum ac-celeration in the mid-span are both 1.06 mm and 2.27 m/s2,indicating that the change in vehicle spring stiffness has almost no effect on the mid-span displacement and acceleration.
