Study of Hill Fire Faults on Distribution Network Based on Meteorological Factors and Satellite Fire Points
Yunnan Power Grid has long distribution lines in mountainous areas, and the number of overhead bare conductors accounts for a large proportion, which is very easy to cause damage to line equipment caused by mountain fires,in order to prevent distribution line failures caused by mountain fires. This paper analyzes the distribution grid faults caused by wildfires based on the meteorological da-ta and satellite monitoring fire point data during the high incidence period of wildfires in Yunnan Power Grid from March to May 2023.Since the average precipitation and temperature from March to May this year were lower than the same period of previous years, the number of wildfires observed this year in-creased significantly,of which a total of 66 faults were detected due to line outages caused by wildfires, most of which were in cooperation with fire and power outages, and only one case was a line failure caused by wildfires. In addition,32 ignition sources caused by line faults were detected,of which the highest proportion was caused by trees lapping onto the line. For the above two types of wildfire faults, typical cases of faults are listed and analyzed.According to the analysis results, the problems existing in the current fire prevention work of the distribution network are pointed out.
