Experimental Study on the"Magnetic Separation-flotation"Combined Process for a Refractory Low-grade Iron Ore
Based on the mineralogical characteristics of a difficult to select low-grade iron ore,a mineral processing experiment was conducted using the"high-pressure roller milling-SLon large par-ticle strong magnetic pre disposal-grinding-SLon strong magnetic impurity removal-reverse flotation desilication and refinement"process. The results show that under the optimal conditions,high-quality iron concentrate with TFe grade of 66.12%,SiO2 grade of 2.06%,and Fe recovery rate of 62.48%can be obtained on the basis of Fe content of 35.75%and SiO2 content of 36.14%in the original ore.The tailings obtained from large particle pre selection and disposal can be used as building materials. The comprehensive utilization of difficult to select low-grade iron ore has been achieved.
