This study was conducted to investigate the characteristics and relationship between the academic self and coping styles of 562 secondary vocational school students by investigating their academic self scale and simple coping style questionnaire. The results showed that there were gender differences in academic self and coping style of vocational school students, and there were positive correlation between academic self and positive coping style.
