Factors Influencing System Confidence Among the Post-00s Generation College Students
"post-00"college students are the dynamic force for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,shouldering the mission of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.Exploring the factors influencing the system confidence of this group is an important theoretical basis for introducing precise measures to establish a correct ideology among college students and of great significance in guiding college students to be firmly confident in the socialist system with Chinese characteristics,and to actively participate in socialist proposals.At present,there is a relative lack of high-quality research in this area.This study effectively col-lected 1609 sample data.The process of eight factors influencing college students'system confidence was explored using partial least squares-based structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM).The results showed that the recognition of the ruling ability of the Communist Party of China(β=0.348),the recognition of the achievements of socialism(β=0.172),the sense of fairness in the dis-tribution of social wealth(β=0.146),the recognition of perceived flaws of the Western system(β=0.048),and cultural confidence(β=0.275)all had positive effects on college students'system confidence.The direct effects of national events(β=0.041)and the sense of gain(β=0.008)on system confidence of"post-00"college students were not significant,but there was a positive indirect effect.The positive effect of the sense of security(β=0.033,p=0.224)on system confidence of"post-00"college students was not statistically supported.Therefore,the recognition of the ruling ability of the CPC is the key to enhancing system confidence of col-lege students.
