The People's Republic of China is currently in a critical phase of fully implementing the rural revitalization strategy.Cultural revitalization is not only an essential aspect of rural revitalization,but also its soul-casting project.As a cultural place to display rural history and culture and perform the function of rural public cultural service,rural museums are a concentrated embodi-ment of regional local culture and an important carrier to promote the revitalization of rural culture in an all-round way.Based on the vivid practice of rural museums,this paper deeply explores and explains its value,and analyses the series of problems in the current construction.On the basis of clear development positioning and reasonable planning,it is necessary to further create a char-acteristic development path for rural museums and rural cultural revitalization through scientific planning of functions,innovative exhibition design,enrichment of publicity means,enhancement of earning capacity,establishment of talent attraction mechanism,introduction of multi-dimensional management,and improvement of rules and regulations.
