A Study of the Impact of Digital Financial Inclusion on the Consump-tion Resilience of Rural Residents
Enhancing the resilience of rural residents'consumption and stimulating rural consumption potential has become one of the main drivers of the domestic economic cycle.Based ontheoretical analysis, the article constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system for rural residents'consumption resilience, and empirically explores the impact of digital inclusive finance on rural residents'consumption resilience by utilizing China's provincial data from 2013 to 2021.The study found that digital financial inclusion has a positive impact on the consumption resilience of rural resi-dents,and this impact shows obvious heterogeneity characteristics, specifically in the eastern region and the main food marketing area is more significant;using the threshold model, the study found that the facilitating effect of digi-tal inclusive finance is characterized by a non-linear incremental marginal impact, and measured the threshold level that triggers the marginal incremental effect from the perspective of human capital. In addition, the degree of marketiza-tion plays a positive moderating role in the impact of digital inclusive finance on the consumption resilience of rural resi-dents.Based on this, this paper puts forward proposals to strengthen the construction of digital financial infrastructure in rural areas and improve the level of development of digital inclusive finance,in order to further play the role of digi-tal inclusive finance in promoting the resilience of rural residents'consumption.
