Study on the Carbon Emission Reduction Effect of Credit Resource Al-location
An endogenous growth model that includes carbon emissions and credit resource allocation was con-structed.It also examines the carbon emission reduction effect of credit resource allocation and its mechanism of action using provincial panel data from 2001 to 2019.The study found that, firstly, prioritizing the allocation of credit re-sources to green enterprises is conducive to reducing the level of carbon emissions.Second, there is significant regional and environmental awareness heterogeneity in the carbon emission reduction effect of credit resource allocation, and credit resource allocation is more likely to promote carbon emission reduction in the eastern region and regions with high environmental awareness level. Finally, credit resource allocation reduces carbon emissions by reducing environ-mental scale effects and expanding technological effects. Therefore,it is necessary to actively guide the flow of credit resources to green industries, encourage support for green technological innovation, coordinate the relationship be-tween carbon emission reduction and economic growth, and formulate carbon-emission-reduction-related policies in ac-cordance with local conditions,so as to promote the realization of the"dual-carbon"goal.
