The Impact of Fintech on Rural Industry Revitalization——Based on the Mediating Effect of Rural Tri-industry Integration and Agricultural New Quality Productivity
Against the backdrop of the in-depth promotion of the rural revitalization strategy,fin-tech has become a key engine to drive the revitalization of rural industries.The 280 prefecture-level cities from 2013 to 2022 are selected as the research samples,and the impact effect and mechanism of fin-tech on rural industrial revitalization are clarified by constructing a statistical model.The empirical results show that fin-tech has a significant positive enabling effect on rural industrial revitalization.The results of the mediation effect test show that fin-tech can help rural industrial revital-ization by accelerating the integration of rural three industries and promoting the development of new agricultural pro-ductivity.The results of the heterogeneity test show that the positive driving effect of fin-tech on rural industrial revital-ization is more significant in the first-tier cities and the southeast side of the Hu Huanyong line.The results of the thresh-old effect test show that there is a threshold effect on the impact of fin-tech on rural industrial retaliation,i.e.,as the level of fin-tech development crosses a single threshold,the impact of fin-tech on the revitalization of rural industries shows a marginal incremental trend.Accordingly,it is necessary to embed digital technology to release the kinetic ener-gy of financial science and technology;layout of future industries to activate the development engine of the new quali-ty productivity of agriculture;and optimize the financial ecology to help the high-quality development of rural indus-tries.
