During the Yan'an period,in order to win the victory of the revolutionary struggle,the CPC Central Committee with Mao Zedong as the core organized fruitful intelligence work.The tasks of intelligence work during this period had changed significantly compared with the previous time.Intelligence work had transformed from the defensive to both the offensive and the defensive,the fundamental guiding principle of secret intelligence work was established,intelligence analysis was placed on an important position,and the cultivation of intelligence personnel was strengthened.As a result,the Party's intelligence work made great progress,which made great contributions to the victory of the revolutionary struggle.The principles,methods and experiences of the Party's intelligence work in the Yan'an period offered important references to the Party's following intelligence work,which are still of important historical and practical values today.
