Oil security is an important component of national security,which is increasingly characterized by a multidimensional synthesis of traditional and non-traditional security.National oil security issue is generated directly or indirectly by oil security risks arising from oil-specific attributes and identified through the assessment of the national"securitization"process.It contains the main components including security of supply,security of demand,security of access,security of price and security of oil use and environment.At present,the trend of protraction and complexity in this regard is inevitable.In the global oil supply side,the United States,Russia and Saudi Arabia are mainly in a pattern of fierce competition and cooperation as well.In the market side,it is mainly challenged by the oil hegemony of the United States.As a globally important economy and a major oil-consuming country,China's demand for national oil security has become increasingly urgent,and thus there is an urgent need to explore a guaranteed path to national oil security with Chinese characteristics.
