The Legend of Shaomai in Inner Mongolia:A Contemporary Narrative—The Legend of Shaomai in Hohhot as an Example
The narrative history of the Inner Mongolian Shaomai legend is long,and it has played an important role in the construction of the food culture symbol of"Shaomai—the taste of Inner Mongolia".The contemporary narrative practices of folklore are very complex,and the paper attempts to discuss the personalized and official narratives of the Inner Mongolian Shaomai legend in the contemporary period.Personal narratives are individualized expressions under collective narratives,in-cluding individuals'daily oral narratives,song expressions,and various self-media narratives.Official narratives include classi-cal official text narratives,landscape narratives and video narratives.The diverse narrative forms reflect the practical explo-ration of the main body of Shaomai legend narrative to adapt to the functional shift of folk literature.
