Research on the Mode of Integrating Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture into the Teaching of English Major in Colleges and Universities
This paper aims to study the model of integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into English major teaching in universities.Through literature review and case analysis,the author found some problems in the teaching process of English major,such as Chinese cultural aphasia,lack of traditional cultural content in English textbooks,lack of scientific in-tegration of traditional culture,and mismatch between evaluation systems and traditional culture.To address these issues,the author proposes a model of integrating traditional culture into professional teaching,and believes that this model can enhance students'cross-cultural awareness and cultural confidence,and their language use and cultural understanding abilities as well.However,there are still some issues that need to be solved when implementing the integration model,such as teaching content design and material selection.Future research can further optimize these integration models and verify them in more English major teaching practices in universities.
