Comprehensive Study on the Protection and Utilization of the Great Wall in Ulanqab in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
There are remnants of the Great Wall from six historical periods within Ulanqab City.This study uses survey methods,data organization,and analysis to discuss the current status of research and protection of the Great Wall in Ulanqab.It identifies the following issues in the Great Wall protection:weak foundation for the"Four Haves"work,insufficient capacity for protection management,the need for enhanced integration of cultural and tourism development in the Great Wall area,and a lack of overall planning for exhibition and utilization.The study proposes several recommendations and suggestions:strength-ening the protection of the Great Wall itself,improving the surrounding environment,enhancing the"Four Haves"work,ad-vancing digital innovation applications,boosting management and protection capabilities,increasing science popularization and education efforts,promoting the integration of cultural and tourism development,rationally planning exhibition and utilization,and conducting multidisciplinary research on the Great Wall.
