Research on the Current Status and Improvement Strategies of Information Literacy Among Chemistry Undergraduates in the Information Age
With the advent of the information age and the rapid development of information technology, information literacy has become an essential skill for university students in the 21st century.College students play a crucial role in acquiring information, using data rationally, and innovating knowledge. However, research on information literacy education in China started relatively late. Many universities are still in the exploratory stage of cultivating information literacy, lacking authoritative and independent evaluation standards. This has led to inconsistent training methods across universities, significant disparities in students'information literacy levels, and uneven knowledge innovation capabilities. This paper investigates the information literacy of 487 chemistry undergraduates from multiple institutions, examines their current status, and provides opinions and suggestions based on practical situations.
