Abstract
William Wordsworth is a great Romantic poet and the poet laureate of Britain as well as the leading figure of the Lakers .In 1800, he published the Preface to Lyrical Ballads , and in 1815, he wrote the second preface for the Lyrical Ballads again .The two works of Wordsworth , which starts the era of romanticism , shows his advocate of poem creation , and has earned high praise in both western literature and literary criticism .
