金融科技发展水平和区域经济韧性水平的提高均能在一定程度上促进经济高质量发展,且两者间存在密不可分的联系.本文基于我国 2011-2021 年 31 个省份的面板数据,构建区域经济韧性评价指标体系,使用双向固定效应模型、空间杜宾模型和面板门槛模型研究金融科技对区域经济韧性的直接影响、空间效应和门槛效应,并进行相关异质性分析.研究结果表明,金融科技分别通过提高地区面对冲击时的抵抗恢复力、适应调节力和创新转型力,有效促进本地区和周边地区经济韧性的提升.这一影响表现出了显著的时期异质性和地区异质性特征,金融科技在冲击恢复期、东部地区对经济韧性的作用更显著.金融科技对区域经济韧性的影响还存在显著的门槛效应,其作用随着金融科技发展水平和产业结构优化水平的提升而增强.基于此,本文建议提高各地区金融科技发展水平,因地制宜发展金融科技,提高金融科技与产业的适配度,从而增强区域经济韧性,实现经济可持续高质量发展.
Abstract
The improvement of fintech development levels and regional economic resilience can promote high-quality economic development to a certain extent,and there is an inseparable connection between the two.Based on panel data from 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2021,this paper constructs an evaluation index system for regional economic resilience and uses a two-way fixed effects model,a spatial Durbin model,and a panel threshold model to study the direct impact,spatial effects,and threshold effects of fintech on regional economic resilience.Additionally,it conducts relevant heterogeneity analysis.The results show that fintech effectively promotes the improvement of economic resilience in both the local and surrounding regions by enhancing the resistance and recovery capacity,adaptive regulation capacity,and innovation transformation capacity in response to shocks.Furthermore,significant temporal and regional heterogeneity characteristics are evident,with fintech's impact on economic resilience being more pronounced during recovery periods from shocks and in the eastern regions.There is also a significant threshold effect in the impact of fintech on regional economic resilience,which is strengthened as fintech development levels and industrial structure optimization improve.Based on this,the paper suggests improving fintech development levels across regions,developing fintech according to local conditions,and enhancing the compatibility of fintech with industries to strengthen regional economic resilience and achieve sustainable high-quality economic development.
