Research on the Path of Empowering Longjiang High-quality Development Through Application-oriented Undergraduate Universities
The quality of higher education is the foundation for the survival of universities,and serving local economic development is a prerequisite for universities to gain sustained support from local governments,and cultivating talents that meet the needs of local economic and social development is the channel for universities to achieve self-development.The close integration of higher education disciplines and majors with economic and social development helps to fulfill the function of higher education in serving society,and it is beneficial for colleges and universities to carry out teaching and research innovation around talent cultivation.Referring to the theory of"universities and local government symbiosis",the study explores the path of improving the quality of application-oriented talent training to support the construction of a modernized and strong province and the high-quality development of Longjiang by accelerating the transformation of local undergraduate universities into application-oriented ones,constructing a collaborative education mechanism of integrating industry and education.
