Analysis on the Impact of Digital Inclusive Finance on the Income of Rural Residents:Based on the Panel Data of 282 Cities at or Above the Prefecture Level
Based on the analysis of the impact of digital inclusive finance on the income of rural residents and the panel data from 282 cities at or above the prefecture level between 2011 and 2020,this study employs a dual fixed-effect model to examine the impact of digital inclusive finance on the income of rural residents. The empirical findings reveal that the advancement of digital inclusive finance contributes to an increase in the income of rural residents, demonstrating regional heterogeneity and threshold effect.Specifically, both the breadth of coverage and depth of usage have positive effects on increasing the income of rural residents, while the degree of digitalization does not contribute to such increase.
