Exploration of Preventive Measures for Wind Bias Faults in 500 kV Ultra-high Voltage Transmission Lines
Wind bias fault is one of the main factors threatening the safe and stable operation of 500 kV ultra-high voltage transmission lines. This article proposes a series of measures to prevent wind deviation faults from four aspects:meteorological monitoring and early warning, optimization of line design, lean operation and maintenance management, and research on wind prevention technology. The measures include strengthening the construction of meteorological monitoring and early warning system, optimizing the selection of line corridors and tower insulator design, conducting hidden danger investigation and intelligent monitoring, innovating wind deviation fault warning and mechanism research, etc. It also emphasizes the importance of strengthening industry exchange and learning,in order to comprehensively enhance the ability of transmission lines to resist wind deviation faults and provide strong support for ensuring the safe operation of the power grid.
