Application and prospecting of integrated geophysical and geochemical methods in a lead-zinc polymetallic deposit in Oroqen area,Inner Mongolia
Taking the exploration of a lead-zinc polymetallic ore in Oroqen,Inner Mongolia as an example, the integration of geo-physical and geochemical methods in different exploration stages are studied. The anomaly of multi-element combination was delineated by 1∶10,000 area soil geochemical survey, and the existence of crater was confirmed by magnetic survey. The lead zinc ore body con-trolled by NE-NNE trending fault zone at the edge of volcanic edifice was identified as the key research object, and lead zinc ore body of the volcanic accumulation type was taken into account. In the case of unsatisfactory IP intermediate gradient exploration, the complex resistivity method profile measurement was carried out,and the two-dimensional electrical profile was used to guide the deployment of deep drilling work, finally achieving a breakthrough in prospecting.By integrating small-scale geophysical and geochemical exploration anomalies with geological background,large-scale geophysical and geochemical exploration to delineate the favorable parts for prospect-ing,and two-dimensional geophysical prospecting profile to further determine the buried depth and occurrence of the target body to guide the drilling, this paper summarized a combination of effective exploration methods for prospecting in other similar areas.
