Influence of microwave digestion and sealed vessel digestion on the determination of 15 rare earth elements in plants by KED-ICP-MS
The microwave digestion method and sealed vessel digestion method were studied for the simultaneous determination of 15 rare earth elements by ICP-MS.The optimal working conditions under kinetic energy discrimination(KED)technique are explored, and Rh and Ir are used as internal standard elements to correct non-mass spectrum interference. The test results of national first-class biological standard material indicate that the sealed vessel method of digesting plant samples has the advantages of high sensitivity and good reproducibility. However, micro wave digestion can also meet the requirements of rapid determination of rare earth elements in plant samples. Therefore, both methods can provide reliable basic data for the corresponding research. It is proved that KED-ICP-MS has the advantages of less interference, good precision and high accuracy, which is suitable for the rapid determination of 15 rare earth elements in plant samples.
