The evolution of ancient armor is closely related to combat effectiveness.It provides protective functions and plays a certain role in tactics.This paper studied the evolution and combat effectiveness of ancient armor,reviewed the evolution process of ancient armor through historical literature,archaeological discoveries and physical analysis,acknowledged the reasons for its evolution,and explored its utility in combat.
