Research on the spinning and post stretching process of large-diameter fluorinated ethylene propylene monofilament
This paper mainly studied the melt spinning and post stretching process of large-diameter fluorinated ethylene propylene(FEP)monofilament.The thermal property of FEP resin was tested and studied by differential scanning calorimeter(DSC).The optimal melt spinning process for large-diameter FEP monofilament was explored.Then,various testing and analysis methods were used to study the effects of process parameters such as cooling water temperature,stretching ratio,stretching temperature,and heat treatment temperature on the mechanical properties of FEP monofilaments.The results showed that when the cooling water temperature was 50℃,the first stage stretching temperature was 85℃,the second stage stretching temperature was 180℃,the stretching ratio was 4.5 times,and the heat setting temperature was around 195℃,the mechanical properties of the FEP monofilament were the best.
