Innovative application of Dong Embroidery pattern culture in modern decorative design
As an outstanding traditional folk craft,Dong Embroidery has gone through the accumulation and inheritance of generations,forming unique cultural and artistic characteristics,reflecting the aesthetic tendency and value concept of the Dong people.This paper analyzes the patterns of Dong Embroidery from three aspects:symbol-metaphors,color characteristics,and composition techniques,and explores the meeting point between Dong Embroidery pattern culture and modern decoration design,in order to provide useful reference for the inheritance and development of Dong Embroidery.
