Nantong,Jiangsu is the main production area of Nanpai kites,with the Banyao Kite being the most representative and a national intangible cultural heritage.This paper conducts research on the inheritance and development of folk art of Nantong Banyao Kite.From the perspective of the historical origins of the Banyao Kite,it explains the intangible cultural heritage of Banyao Kite,and studies the development status and inheritance and development methods of folk art of the Banyao Kite,in order to inherit and develop this intangible cultural heritage.
