Fish pattern is the representative pattern of Miao clothing in Wuxi Valley.To analyze its various shapes and semantics,this paper takes the physical materials related to clothing fish patterns collected by the author through field investigations in Xiangxi,Qiandongnan Prefecture,and other places as the main focus,uses theoretical knowledge and methods from disciplines such as Image Science and Graphics,conducts research on the cultural connotation,shape and semantics of Miao clothing fish patterns in the Wuxi River Basin,in order to better promote the inheritance and innovation of Miao clothing culture.
