Research on the design of multiple renovation of negative street spaces from the perspective of urban renewal:taking Xueren West Street in Changchun as an example
Rapid urbanization in China exacerbates the heterogeneity of negative street spaces,eroding urban residents'living experiences.In order to recover the lost street life,this paper elucidates the concept of negative street spaces,analyzes the current theoretical research status and strategies to mitigate their negativity.At the same time,it needs to start from three physical,environmental and spiritual aspects:spatial module,environmental psychology and sense of place.Taking Xueren West Street in Changchun as an example,strategies such as modularization,spatial transformation,psychological cues,functional reshaping and collaborative sharing are applied to update and reshape negative street spaces in terms of transportation,functionality,environment,safety and facilities.This aims to enhance street space vitality,improve residents'sense of achievement and happiness,and promote healthy and sustainable urban development.
