Interpretation of the modeling characteristics and cultural connotations of mythical beast patterns in jade of the Chu State
There are many mythical beast patterns in the Chu jades,but there are few articles that systematically study the mythical beast patterns on Chu jades.In order to fill this research gap,this paper starts from the modeling characteristics of the representative mythical beast patterns in Chu jades,based on the perspective of Chu culture,classifies and interprets its cultural connotations,and analyzes the modern application of mythical beast patterns.It is concluded that the patterns of Chu jades should be inherited,innovated and applied to related fields such as clothing design and artwork design,providing more inspiration for contemporary art design.
