Research on the functional design of sailing clothing
British Encyclopedia Britannica believes that"Navigation was once considered a skill,but now it has become a science and technology".Two thousand and five hundred years ago,people began exploring the ocean,and since then,the pace of maritime exploration has never stopped.In recent years,the once niche sailing sport has become increasingly popular in China,with an increasing number and wider distribution of clubs.The enthusiast group has gradually formed,and at the same time,sailing clothing is facing new development opportunities and challenges.This paper conducts market research and professional brand product analysis,starting from the functional design of sailing clothing,to study the structure,fabric,color and accessories of sailing clothing,and analyze the development trend of sailing clothing.At present,products of some domestic sailing clothing companies are unable to meet the sports needs of professional sailors,and the best-selling brands are still mainly foreign brands.Therefore,developing professional sailing clothing that combine functionality and aesthetics is the focus of domestic sailing sports brand designers in the future.
