Exploration of the application of accessible design in aging friendly residential buildings
Population aging is one of the most severe problems in today's society,and many families are facing the problem of elderly care.With the intensification of population aging,the demand for elderly to use residential areas is also increasing,and ordinary designs can no longer meet the daily usage needs of the elderly.This paper analyzes the aging friendly housing and the physical and mental needs of the elderly,and explores the application strategies of accessible design in aging friendly housing.Accessible design can significantly improve the living comfort and quality of life of the elderly,and is one of the important means of aging friendly residential design,providing guarantees for the elderly's later life.
