Molten metal splashing is a common hazard factor in high-temperature work, posing a threat to the lives and health of workers. Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a textile that can effectively protect against molten metal splashing. The article elaborates on the following experimental process. It uses nano SiO2 and organic silicon finishing agents to perform post finishing on wool blended fabrics, constructing low surface energy multi-level micro nano structures on the fabric surface, and synergistically improving the slippage effect of molten metal on the fabric surface through contact interface heat compensation technology, shortening the contact time between molten metal and protective clothing, and improving the protection level. The experimental results show that when the addition amount of nano SiO2 is 0.6%and the organic silicon finishing agent is 60 g/L,the molten metal splashing protection and thermal protection performance of the fabric are optimal, without significantly reducing its mechanical properties and comfort.
