The sustainable development strategy is not only an important instruction to lead the efficient utilization and recycling of Tianjin garment industry resources,but also an inevitable trend and important direction for the development of Tianjin and even the whole country's garment industry,so that the garment industry can contribute to the realization of green development and the construction of ecological civilization.Based on the construction of the international consumption center city,this paper analyzes the development status of Tianjin garment industry under the sustainable development strategy,expounds its future development opportunities,and points out three development paths of the garment industry:digital transformation,promotion of sustainable consumption behavior,application and promotion of recycled fabrics,in order to conform to the sustainable development concept of the new era.
